ONCE THE EARLIEST TIER SELLS OUT OF ITS ALLOTMENT, THE NEXT  PRICING TIER IS ACTIVATED. IT IS FOR THE SAME TICKET, BUT THE PRICE IS NOW HIGHER.

Known as one of Vancouver’s best tasting events of the year, PUNCHBOWL features over 50+ vendors sampling over 250+ of the finest summer spirits, beer and cider cocktail creations, wine, and delicious food. We are back and bolder than ever at the PNE Fairgrounds under the blue skies of a July Saturday, with live music throughout the day. If you’re looking for a fresh take on your average tasting event, at an open space that is relaxed, attractive and fun, where you can be educated on cocktail culture, new alcohol products, and beyond… then PUNCHBOWL is for you!

  • PUNCHBOWL will be taking place the PNE Fairgrounds at 2901 E. Hastings in Vancouver, BC.

  • The regular price of a ticket to the 2023 PUNCHBOWL is $55, but presently they are $30. They will soon increase in price. Tickets will be initially released at a discounted price and then gradually increase as the event edges closer and closer.

  • Tickets include admission and a souvenir tasting cup. All beverage samples within the event are available by using the festival token. Food is available using credit/debit cards.

  • Samples range in price depending on the product’s retail value. A sample using a $150 bottle of tequila will cost more to sample than that of cocktail using a $30 bottle. Generally most samples range from $2-$4.

  • The PUNCHBOWL token is the currency of PUNCHBOWL. Attendees will purchase tokens as they walk into the event and then use those tokens to purchase everything available at PUNCHBOWL (excluding the onsite liquor store). Tokens are $1/each plus the appropriate taxes. Cash is accepted but most token terminals will only accept credit card. There is a $2 convenience fee when purchasing tokens by CC.

  • No, on both fronts. Pets are not permitted. This event is 19+ and thus no one from the age of 0 days old to 18 and 364 days old may enter the festival gates.

  • Easy peasy. All you have to do is join the “Punch List” mailing list, which you can do at anytime by clicking right here.

  • Usually a couple days before the pre-sale window opens.

  • We do not have a different ticket available for DDs. PUNCHBOWL is based on a “a-la-carte” system and thus your admission ticket is only for admission - just like a DD ticket. We encourage designated drivers and have thus included many food items and entertainment for those not partaking in the sampling of alcohol.

  • All on-sale dates and times are listed on our ticketing page.

  • No. Barcodes on your phones are 100% sufficient.

  • PUNCHBOWL tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are transferable and thus can be given away to friends or sold on 3rd party sites. We do not hold any responsibility for tickets that are bought, sold, given away or received privately as there is no way to trace them to the new buyer.

  • Due to the past two-years of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is always a chance that an event could get postponed due to government restrictions. If the event is postponed, all purchased tickets will be automatically valid for the new scheduled dates. No tickets will be refunded if the events is postponed.

  • Generally no, unless they are released in a pre-sale.

  • If there is a ticket limit, it is usually 8 per event.

  • Tickets are delivered by e-mail. Once you purchase your tickets, they should arrive momentarily in your inbox. If you don’t receive them, please use the contact form to let us know. Please include your order number and the first and last name that they were purchased under.

  • Yes. We use a 3rd party ticketing site and they don’t work for free. The fees have been negotiated for the benefit of our guests and continue to be minimal. Regarding tax, only GST is charged on tickets.

  • Yes. If you require parking for the disabled, there will be spots onsite. There are ramps where needed for wheelchair and more gradual ups and downs where necessary.
